Heartbeat brought Dana Carvey's corporate stand up comedy routine to the Hampton Inn conference. Dana Carvey is an actor and stand up comedian, with his television and movies credits from the past 30 years too numerous to mention. Carvey is named on Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time. He became a household name in 1986, when he joined the cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live and helped reverse the show's declining popularity and made SNL's must see,TV once again. Best known for his breakout characters, The Church Lady and his impersonations of George H. W. Bush, which made him the lead actor of the regular political sketches. Carvey's other favorite original character is Garth Algar from Wayne's World movies.
